Hunt Savvy Training Day 2013

Our “Hunt Savvy” Training day happens once a year in the fall. On this day we don’t focus at all on the technical side of retriever training. But instead work on putting the dogs through a series of stations designed to prepare the dog for the hunting scenarios they are likely to encounter in the coming hunting season so that both dog and handler are more prepared on opening day. This year we did a marsh duck  hunt out of sneak boats – complete with decoys and mojos, and a field goose hunt.
