At Salt Valley HRC, we’re more than just a club — we’re a community of hunters, trainers, and dedicated retriever owners who share a single goal: to honor the working heritage of our dogs. Based in Lincoln, Nebraska, and sanctioned by the HRC/UKC, our club delivers top-tier hunt tests, expert training support, and an unmatched network of fellow gun dog lovers.

We help hunters and their families develop well-rounded retrievers that excel both in the field and at home. Through our club training days, you’ll gain hands-on experience and guidance to shape your dog into the hunting partner you’ve always wanted. We also host new-handler seminars designed to prepare you for hunt test competitions, giving you the knowledge and confidence to succeed. Each year, we proudly hold an HRC/UKC-licensed hunt test — a chance for members to showcase their dogs’ skills, celebrate progress, and uphold the tradition of the true hunting retriever.​​
